"Taceham Races" Succeeds Expectations

The Race Night held recently was a phenomenal success with around £700 raised to support the Taceham WINGS Unit. Thank You for your generous support.

The night saw 90 guests packed in to 2nd Thatcham Scout HQ for an evening of entertainments and company. During the evening, members of the audience were invited to be a jockey in one of the nine races held during the evening.

Among the races, there was a ladies' race, a race for children under 135cm, and the Parental Handicap (just for jockeys who were parents).

Supporting the event were many local companies including Kick FM, The Family Bookshop, The Spotted Dog Cold Ash and Kennet Amateur Theatrical Society. More.

The compère for the evening was Kick FM's Marc Curtis.
